SERVER LOG INTELLIGENCE

Your server logs already know which AI cites you

Log Analyzer parses access logs to identify GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended and 200+ other crawlers — then shows you which pages AI actually fetches, which it ignores, and which to block.

Powered by the open 3LA AI Bot Database.

Identify 200+ bots

Real-time user-agent matching against the 3LA Bot Database. Know whether a request is GPTBot, ClaudeBot, a beneficial scraper, or a hostile content thief.

URL-level intelligence

See exactly which pages AI bots crawl most. Find your "AI-favoured" URLs and the orphans that get ignored — so you know what to publish more of.

Real-time + full history

Live stream of incoming bot traffic plus complete archive. Filter by bot, path, date range — export everything as CSV.

Threat detection

High-frequency scraping, suspicious paths, undisclosed bots — flagged automatically with severity and recommended robots.txt entries.

How it works

  1. 01

    Connect your logs

Upload Apache / Nginx / Cloudflare logs, or stream live via our log forwarder. All standard formats supported.

  2. 02

    We parse and classify

Every request is matched against the 3LA Bot Database. Bots are categorised by purpose, threat level and citation behaviour.

  3. 03

    Read the dashboard

Top bots, top crawled paths, request rate over time, threat events — all visible in one real-time view with 90-day history.

  4. 04

    Generate a robots.txt

One-click export of an AI-aware robots.txt that welcomes citation bots and blocks the scrapers you actually want out.

Who uses it

  • SEO teams measuring AI crawl coverage of their content
  • Security teams catching aggressive scrapers before they hurt server performance
  • Content strategists discovering which assets attract AI citations
  • Developers building AI-aware robots.txt and access policies

Frequently asked

Which log formats do you support?

Apache Combined, Nginx default and custom, Cloudflare Enterprise Logs, and AWS CloudFront JSON. Bring what you have — we auto-detect the format on upload.

How is Log Analyzer different from Bot Tracker?

Log Analyzer is the raw log-parsing engine — it tells you every crawler that touched the site. Bot Tracker layers real-time classification, citation-chain linking and Slack alerts on top. Many teams use both: Log Analyzer for historical reporting, Bot Tracker for live decisions.

Do you keep the raw log data?

You control retention. Default is 90 days of parsed request records in your workspace. Raw log files are deleted after parsing unless you enable extended retention.

Can I stream logs live instead of uploading files?

Yes. The 3LA Log Forwarder is a lightweight daemon that streams parsed events to your workspace in real time. Works on Apache, Nginx and Cloudflare Workers.

Does this need PII cleaning first?

No. Log Analyzer strips IP addresses and query strings at parse time by default. You never send us user-identifying data unless you explicitly enable it.

BUILT WITH PARTNERS

Backed by Nordic AI-native operators.
